Mr. C had persistent breathing problems after a previous septoplasty. He wanted to improve his airway and also narrow his tip and slightly smooth his profile. A combined functional and cosmetic procedure was done using a closed rhinoplasty approach. Profile-plasty with placement of a right spreader graft was done. Tip-plasty was accomplished using suture refinement techniques, minimal cartilage volume excision, and 2 structural cartilage grafts. The result is an extremely natural outcome with full restoration of his breathing.
