Unfortunately, it is not just the uncomfortable sunburn that is threatening healthy skin. Prolonged exposure and tanning can also take a serious toll, leaving it dry, leathery and more susceptible to damage and certain kinds of skin cancer. Even individuals with darker skin are not immune from the powerful effects of the sun. Myth #3. “All sunscreens are greasy and will cause my skin to break out.”
The days of heavy greasy sunscreens are a thing of the past.
