Foundation Rhinoplasty Gallery
The goal of Foundation Rhinoplasty alone is to produce the same nose in a straighter form. Without additional cosmetic work it is a primarily functional procedure with modest aesthetic benefits. Mr. B. had a developmentally deviated nose with significant facial asymmetry. However, after several nasal fractures, his external deviation and internal airway became a significant problem. Multiple nasal bone and septal fractures were present. Closed Foundation Rhinoplasty was done using subalar and spreader graft techniques to straighten the nasal tip and central nose. Perforating doubla lateral osteotomy technique provided nasal bone medialization. Mr. B. has happy with the functional and external correction achieved. Endoscopic intranasal views are shown in the lower photographs.
