Full Case Details:
This patient had a concern for an overall wide nose with nasal deviation and nostril asymmetry as well as breathing obstruction. A closed primary rhinoplasty was performed, where a radix graft was placed on the bridge in order to raise a low radix, limiting profile reduction and providing more definition to the upper nose. Septoplasty was performed. Temporalis was also placed over the bridge to enhance contouring. A left spreader graft was placed and ethmoid bone was used as a dorsal splint on the right side. Tip reshaping was done with placement of columellar strut, a cap graft and alar rim grafts. Asymmetrical nostril reduction was performed due to preoperative asymmetry. The ultimate result is a strong and contoured nose with excellent functional outcomes.
