Closed Revision Rhinoplasty result seen at 13 years post op. A well-performed primary or revision rhinoplasty using structural grafting and shape/contour methods should stand the test of time. A closed Tip and Profile revision was performed in this case.
13 years prior the patient had an injury and the bridge was repaired with spreader grafts, a septoplasty and profile reduction. 5 years later, she decided to revise her tip becuase it felt droppy. Her revision was done using septal cartilage again. The profile was shaved more, the bottom of the septum was shortened. A columellar strut was placed and tip sutures changed the shape of the tip to a slightly lifted, more narrow appearance. The overall result 13 years later is shown compared to her nasal appearance prior to the first surgery.
